from the most intimate parts of their quarantine in texas, Sorunke collects bits and pieces of conversations, movements, and moments that make up the kindling of the fire that we see unleashed at the end of the visualizer. starting with elements portrait series, there is a sense of collective in the isolation of each moment. from the slow strumming of the guitar, the echoing croons, and the entrancing movements of the visualizer, to the raw conversations about loss, self-love and beauty in waves, the project ignites feelings of self-discovery, community, and care.
